Chicco presents us with the Top Digital Video. It is a very complete device and at the same time easy to use. It includes a series of features that give it great reliability.
We especially like the following features:
- 3″ touch screen: intuitive screen to be able to see your baby at any time.
- Two-way communication: listen and talk to your baby at all times.
- Capture photos and videos: you can save photos and videos of your baby.
- VOX mode: it has the “Activation mode by voice” option, in which the screen turns on only when it detects a noise in your child’s room.
- Lullaby reproducer: reproduces up to six lullabies to help your baby fall asleep and also has the option to connect an MP3.
- Digital zoom: you have the possibility of bringing the image closer to see your child more clearly.
- High transmission distance: works perfectly up to 150 meters away.

Satisfies expectations, and offers the indispensable infrared function to see our little one sleeping. Without a doubt the video camera is one of the largest on the market and this has its advantages and drawbacks; it is true that we prefer one that is as small as possible because it is easier to place.
Although the camera can be tilted to obtain an adequate angle, the platform is very fragile. We missed having a motorized camera, that is, that we can move it from the parental unit to be able to keep our child under control at all times.
Finally, we add that it does not include any kind of support for the wall or the cradle, which depending on the parents or the structure of the baby’s room can be a problem.

This model from the Italian brand features a high-quality 3-inch LCD touch screen. The image quality is good, and you can see your baby at all times with clarity. However, the sound quality is lacking, and we expected something better.
It also has the invaluable two-way communication function, so that you can talk to your little one and in this way calm him from a distance when he cries.
It includes VOX mode which allows you to put the screen into hibernation and it will only activate when it detects a noise in the baby’s room. This promotes energy saving and facilitates parents’ rest. It also features a screen zoom option.
Battery: 9 out of 10
Both the camera and the monitor can work connected to the electrical outlet or with batteries. We prefer rechargeable lithium batteries instead of batteries as it is much more comfortable.
The battery life of the device is approximately 6 hours, which is normal for this type of baby monitor.

Its coverage in open spaces is 150 meters, so it will be sufficient for most parents. We must remember, however, that in closed spaces this distance is normally considerably reduced.

Includes a large amount of extra features such as remote lullabies or the room temperature sensor. We think, however, that we could have added the option of connecting more than one camera, as this facilitates monitoring in multiple rooms for one or more children.
A function that is included this model is being able to take photos and videos of our child, but it does not offer the possibility of exporting them and this is why we believe that this function does not make much sense. It also includes the ability to play the music we want by connecting an MP3 player.

This brand has accustomed us to quality products for families. Buying Chicco Top Digital Video, means choosing a camera for children by an Italian brand, and therefore also means opting for the good quality of a reliable product.
Although it is clear that, by adding certain features that are missing and improving the sound and sound quality, we would have had an excellent baby.
Unfortunately I had to return it. After 4 days the connection was lost.
The sound is good but the image sometimes gets lost a bit. Overall it’s a good product.
