The design is decidedly simple and essential, along with the camera’s ability to be rotated manually. The presence of infrared allows night vision (black and white images).
Display: 5.5 out of 10
The 2 “LCD screen is decidedly smaller than the mid-range baby monitor. The vision is not stable: many customers report frequent interference, especially in the presence of other devices such as: tablet, PC, mobile phones connected via WIFI – a real minus of this product.
The video camera does not always transmit clear images, especially if it is positioned not exactly next to the baby. The quality of night vision is not bad.
Battery: 4 out of 10
The camera, as indicated, must always be connected to the power supply to operate. Instead the screen has a duration that does not reach 2 hours. This aspect takes away from the product a lot of comfort because it must remain connected almost always.
Range: 7.5 out of 10
It has a coverage of 260 meters, very similar to that guaranteed by mid-range baby monitors. However, indoors it is reduced to 30-50 meters.
Extra: 6.5 out of 10
Given its market price, this model does not have many extras: it includes lullabies and two-way communication. The video camera is very basic and can only be adjusted manually.
Conclusion: 6 out of 10
A simple and essential model with obvious lack of options, considering the compromise quality / price. The use of the parental monitor is simple and manageable, but the low battery life, the small screen size and the poor image quality mean that buying the GHB Babyphone baby monitor is a choice for those parents who do not want, or can’t, invest a lot.
The quality is good, sometimes there are connection problems but overall I must say that I am satisfied!
I’m not satisfied at all, the only good thing about this baby monitor is the sound. For the rest it’s pretty bad!
The quality was very poor. I returned it. Never again!
