The design is simple and compact, the camera gives the possibility of being rotated manually both at 360 degrees thanks to the circular base which is inclined up to 60 degrees and thanks to the pivoting element.

The camera has a reduced shooting range that does not allow a complete view, so it is suitable for shooting the baby’s bed but NOT the baby’s room.

The presence of infrared allows a discreet night vision.

The 3.2 ″ LCD screen has a good size and helps with day and night viewing. The vision is not always stable: some customers report interference, especially if the parent unit is far from the baby’s room. Despite the wide screen, the final resolution of the image is not in HD.

The sound activation, which turns on the screen (VOX mode), is good and has 2 levels of sensitivity: high and medium – however the sound is not always optimal, while the possibility of connecting up to 4 cameras at the same time is definitely good. The autonomy of the monitor, with the included rechargeable battery is satisfactory.

The rechargeable lithium battery has a guaranteed duration of 6 hours of continuous use, as the product automatically goes into energy saving mode (VOX mode) to turn back on only when it detects a noise.

It has a coverage of almost 300 meters, certainly the closer it is and the more stable the signal will be, it has no particular problems with interference from Wifi networks.

The additional cameras, as well as the setting of the double level of the VOX mode, the presence of the wall fixing kit, the possibility to remotely activate the lullaby melodies, the automatic temperature control are all very comfortable options.

It is important to rely on a device to monitor children as complete and modern as possible. Buying the HelloBaby HB32 baby monitor guarantees a good performance in the control of our baby, especially during the hours of bedtime: night vision for this is a plus.

The product in general has decent performance, however the importance of a defined image should not be underestimated – that this model, despite the large screen, does not always guarantee.

At the same time, we must never forget the sound: it is necessary to have a product that guarantees maximum precision in VOX mode (which allows the screen to be switched on in the presence of an “abnormal” noise). This model has discrete sensors that pick up noise in the child’s room but sometimes sound stability is not always optimal.
